Lee Fischman is Senior Director of Product Development at Galorath Incorporated, which provides tools for estimating software project effort and duration. In this role, Lee has spearheaded the development of numerous desktop and browser-based applications. He continuously develops and consults on bespoke solutions for large software development shops throughout the world, particularly in aerospace, government, insurance and manufacturing. Lee also conducts research in software project dynamics and has headed estimating-oriented experimental efforts in numerous domains, for example: spacecraft, product object models and software compilers. In addition to this, Lee has worked with student teams in numerous schools. In a voluntary role, Lee is Chair of the Village of Scarsdale’s Conservation Advisory Council and a Super Captain of New York’s Five Boro Bike Tour. He earned a BA in economics from the University of Chicago and an MA in economics from UCLA.
