Lora Magliocco joined UTC Aerospace Systems – ISR and Space Systems in 2006 as a software quality assurance engineer. With a background in software engineering, testing, and process, she moved into a Program Manager position. As a program manager, she has led a stream of highly technical programs such as ORS-1, SYERS-2 development and ground sustainment, and Open Mission Systems. From 2010 – 2013 Ms. Magliocco, while performing the responsibilities of a program manager, led a cross functional team across ISR and Space Systems to increase support for the warfighter and build teamwork and accountability by involving the broadest possible cross-section of the ISR population in a focused charity activity. In 2013, Ms. Magliocco moved into her current role as Manager, Sensor Support Services. Ms. Magliocco and her team are responsible for ensuring the sensors that directly support the warfighter are flawlessly integrated, operational, and are producing actionable intelligence. She also is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of programs for Strategic Surveillance Systems (SSS).
Ms. Magliocco holds a bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology, and is currently in pursuit of an MBA at Northeastern University.
