Student presents paper on software vulnerabilities

Joanna Cecilia, a computing and information sciences Ph.D. student, and Mehdi Mirakhorli, an assistant professor of software engineering, presented “Understanding Software Vulnerabilities Related to Architectural Security Tactics: An Empirical Investigation of Chromium, PHP and Thunderbird” on April 5 at the IEEE International Conference on Software Architecture in Gothenburg, Sweden. For their work, the team also received an ACM SIGSOFT Distinguished Paper award.
