You can now order Clothing with the RIT Software Engineering Program Logo

We have arranged for the Software Engineering program's logo to be on file at an independent clothing manufacturer. This provides everyone with the opportunity to purchase articles of clothing with an embroidered logo.

The clothing manufacturer is Wearguard, an Aramark company. They have a complete line of clothing including long and short sleeve shirts, sweatshirts, jackets, etc. The SE department has made an arrangement with one of the Wearguard sales people so that there will be no minimum order quantities for any clothing embroidered with an RIT Software Engineering logo. Just about everything in the company's catalog except T-shirts and hats can have a logo embroidered on it.

The steps to follow for ordering an article of clothing are simple:

  1. Look in their on-line catalog at www.wearguard.com.
  2. Select the item(s) of clothing that you want. Note the style number, size and color. The embroidery will add $4.00 to the catalog cost for each article of clothing. A shipping charge will also be added to your entire order.
  3. You must place the order by telephone with our sales person. On-line ordering will not work. Call Jeff Brown at 800-677-6060 x5744 to place your order. When asked, enter Jeff's extension rather than get connected with the next operator. Jeff is the only sales person who will not require minimum quantities. His phone is often busy so leave a message. He is prompt returning calls when you say that you want to place an order.
  4. When you place the order tell Jeff that you want the RIT Software Engineering logo embroidered on the clothing. He knows it by name. There is no design or code number to provide. He will make sure that the clothing you select can be embroidered and that the blue color of our logo will go well with the colors you selected.
  5. Use a credit card to pay for your order.

The time to fulfill an order may vary, but typically our experience has been that it takes a week from the point of placing the order to receiving the garments in Rochester.

The RIT Department of Software Engineering does not receive any remuneration or compensation from Wearguard. We paid the fee to have our logo put in the Wearguard files so that our students, their families, and department faculty and staff can choose from a large selection of clothing with our program identification.
