A Graduate Assistantship is an employment opportunity offered by the Department of Software Engineering. Responsibilities will vary, but Graduate Assistants may provide in-class course or lab support, and tutoring of students outside of class. Graduate Assistants may also work with the department’s professional staff and faculty to support the department’s computing resources and facilities. Graduate Assistants are not responsible for any direct classroom teaching.

Depending on several factors, the department offers one or more Graduate Assistantship positions each academic year, starting in the Fall quarter. Positions may be available on a full or part-time basis. See the Graduate Handbook for compensation information.

Applications for Graduate Assistantship to start in the Fall quarter of each year, must be received by the department by April 1st of that year.
