Project Synopsis:
The Paychex Out of Office Calendar Application is a web-based application that automatically notifies the appropriate personnel and departments of an employee.s absence, whether due to sick leave, vacation, or alternate working location. This application shall integrate with Microsoft Outlook, allowing users to send predefined or custom messages to those who must be notified of the absence. A high level of usability is desired, as well as one of customizability; the application must handle different department- and employee- specific absence notification protocols easily and intuitively.
