The RIT Coop Evaluation System is beginning to show its age, and is causing a lot of headaches for students, faculty, and employers alike. The original system was created in 2003 by an SE project team, and since then technology has moved on. Last year, work started to develop a new replacement for this system based on newer web technologies, and that would modernize the Coop Evaluation process. Currently the system has basic functionality, but needs more work and polish, specifically in the areas of reporting and emailing. The goal is to release a final product that is functional, and fully usable by OCSCE and supported by ITS so that it can be placed into production in May 2016.
