Functional Testing is performed against the use cases.
Here are the steps to make and run a test:
- Copy the Functional Test Template into a new or existing page
- Pages are grouped by categories (e.g User Account Testing)
- Copy a new template for each test in that category
- Write the test inputs, expected outputs, and steps.
- Before running the test, review the test and mark who reviewed it and when
- Use the "@" symbol for your username in Confluence syntax. (@iis2696 turns into: IAN SALITRYNSKI (RIT Student))
- When running the test, mark that you performed it and when
- Log the test result
