Week 8 - Robocode Part II

Class Plan:

1. Expand your Network join us on Facebook “RIT Department of Software Engineering” (5 minutes)
2. Robot Development time. Pick up where you left off and continued enhancements to your robot. Consider testing strategies as part of this effort. (25 minutes)
3. Submit your compiled intermediate robot (.class) to Discussion Board. (5 minutes)
4. Test Battle: all teams at once. Pay close attention to your robot’s behavior and figure out possible improvements (write these down) (10 minutes)
5. Implement Robot improvements based on your observations and test results (45 minutes)
6. Submit your FINAL robot (.class) as well as your source code (.java) to your team’s Locker AS WELL as to the “Week 8 Activity – Robocode robot”dropbox in myCourses. (5 minutes)
7. Final Epic Battle: all teams at once. (10 minutes)
8. Discussion and parting thoughts. How were strategies carried out? (5 minutes)

Assignments Due:

At end of final development time, upload your team’s robot code to your team’s Locker AS WELL as to the “Week 8 Activity – Robocode robot” dropbox in myCourses.
