Create a Trello WORKSPACE (not a board) for your project using the same naming convention used to setup your team's Slack workspace.
Use the team name tttt-swen-261-ss-a-name where:
- tttt is the academic term, e.g. 2225
- ss is your section number, e.g. 05
- a is the letter for your team assigned by your instructor, e.g. a, b, c, d, e
- name is a name the team creates for itself
Invite the members of your term project team to this Trello workspace.
Invite the instructor (and course assistant, if any) to this Trello workspace and make sure to give them Admin role under the Members section.
Your instructor will copy the project's Trello starter board to your team. You do not need to create a Trello board.

After-Class Exercises

Product backlog - team S0
By the date indicated on your class schedule do the following as a team:
- Review the board that your instructor copied to your Trello team. Read over the User Stories and Spike Stories that are in the SPRINT Backlog list.
  These cards constitute the only stories you are required to complete for Elaboration Sprint 1
  .
- The User Stories in the Sprint Backlog for Sprint 1 do not have all Acceptance Criteria or Solution Tasks defined. You need to look at the example and define Acceptance Criteria and Solution Tasks for any User Story that does not have them. All the information is provided for you on the Spike Stories.
- Post any requirements questions to the Questions to the Product Owner topic in the myCourses Discussions area (or assigned Slack workspace if your instructor has asked you to use it).
- Review the User and Spike Strories, and Epics that all team members identified.
  Consolidate these into the PRODUCT Backlog for the team which covers the minimum viable product (MVP) and at least two candidate enhancements that the team is considering implementing. Please label these cards appropriately by pre-pending Enhancement: to the title of the story
- The User and Spike Stories in the Sprint Backlog for Elaboration Sprint 1 work must stay. Adjust your Product Backlog list, as necessary, to eliminate any overlap.
- Populate the Product Backlog list in your Trello board with a prioritized list of User Stories and Epic cards created from your consolidated list. Make sure to create your cards by copying from the appropriate Template card in the Templates list on your board. Provide a short title for each card, and the story text written in the standard format. The User Story template card includes the full set of Definition of Done checklist items that you will use throughout the project. At this point, you do not have to define Story Points, Acceptance Criteria, or Solution Tasks for User Stories that will be implemented in later sprints (*although beginning to think/talk about them will give your team a huge advantage). Epic cards should have all of the associated User Story cards linked to the Stories list by copying the URL for each constituent User Story and pasting it as a checklist item in the Stories list. Your instructor will review your Trello board at the end of Sprint 0 and evaluate it using the rubric Product Backlog.
