Project Deliverable - Conveyance Phase:
Deployment Manifest (Group)

Assignment

Most software lifecycles include a final stage that acknowledges deployment. However, many projects lack the discipline to truly plan this crucial stage. In doing so they short-change customers/stakeholders and end up subsuming the engineering process.

For this activity, you will assert as a team the steps necessary to "release" your product/service and produce a checklist that encapsulates all ethical tools you have learned about in relation to how your would deploy your product.

Make sure your manifest covers:

  1. A list of numbered steps assumed to begin at the moment the product/service has finished being "constructed".
  2. Coverage of any aspect your company/team needs to execute/check/inform in order to avoid any problems.
  3. Once the steps are created establish, determine what would be the harm if this step was not taken and label it "Harm: ... " do the same on a separate line for the "Benefit: ... "

Submit as a (PDF) document to the myCourses folder "Deployment Manifest (group)" by deadline policy indicated on schedule.
