Here is a checklist of what you want to check on when testing the streaming cart.
General hardware and software setup
Charge wireless microphones
Charge battery backup for pan/tilt head
Power up cart.
Check wireless connection
Update OS and vMix software (can use Ethernet)
Put title slides in C:\Users\Public\vMix\vMix Pictures
Save vMix Preset
Check pan/tilt head, remote and extension
Check Canon camera, HDMI cable and extension, wired remote and extension
Connect Logitech webcam, if being used
Connect HDMI switch
Check video captures, picture-in-picture sizing
Setup a YouTube test stream
Test streaming
Details of the vMix setup
Because digitizing the computer output has been so unreliable, particularly from Macs, we always setup the webcam to look at the screen. There are two sets of inputs for the projected image. One set uses the webcam view, and the other uses the captured view.
