Assignment:

For the past several weeks, you have been experiencing life as a Software Engineering student. We hope you are getting acclimated and would like to introduce you to a few other folks. Next week all Freshman Seminar Sections will meet in a forum setting with upperclassmen and members of the SE Department. We will have a panel with students and share with you some interesting history of the program. In order to prepare for this session, we want you to think about the following:

  1. If you had 20 minutes to ask an upper classmen about his/her experience in the SE program what would you want the conversation to include?
  2. These questions can be about the SE student lifestyle, RIT SE program, tips on progressing through your coursework, things you are excited about, concerned about, etc.
Submit your list of questions 48 hours prior to the forum date/time as indicated on schedule. Use "Assignment - Week 6" in Mycourses (or as specified by your instructor). We will address common themes and questions during the forum (name will be anonymous, so feel free to express any concerns). You must print out your questions and bring the printout with you since we will be at a larger auditorium without computer access.
