Project Deliverable - Analysis Phase:
Project Context - Stakeholders and Scope (Individual+Group)
Assignment
You are becoming more familiar with the overall objectives of your project. Most of the work has been focused on the product requirements but it is now time to branch out and consider additional perspective of the project context. For a portion of this assignment you will make use of a diagraming tool (we recommend Lucidchart). If you choose otherwise, make sure it facilitates the creation of a UML context diagram, DO NOT draw by hand.
* For the first part of the assignment you can reach out to your teammates for discussion but the diagram submission must be your own.
Here are the individual deliverables:
- Create a UML context diagram identifying the high-level features for the project. You must now incorporate major features that incorporate at least two Intelligence types introduced in class.
- Your diagram must identify all stakeholders relating to these intelligence features (as well as the common user roles that you would identify in a typical Use Case context diagram).
- Clearly connect all "actors" to the corresponding features.
* For the second part of the assignment you will collaborate with your teammates and submit one document.
Follow these steps and capture in a team document:- Share with each other your Context diagrams and consolidate a list of primary stakeholders. (Might there be organizations/entities that could be considered stakeholders? If so add them to the list)
- For each stakeholder write a few sentences for pros AND cons regarding what they might think about having the "intelligent" features added to the product.
- Order the list in terms of agreed importance.
- As a last step consider the list of features that you collectively captured in your individual diagrams. Define an LVP (least valuable product) list of features. That is the ones that would be less desireable to "take on" based on the cons you identified above.
Submission Instructions
Add all the individual Context diagrams to the team document, making sure each is labeled with the name of the team member who created it. Export as (PDF) document and submit to the myCourses folder "Project Context Diagram - Stakeholders and Scope (Individual=>Group)" by deadline policy indicated on schedule. Make sure to include both part 1 and part 2 of this exercise. ONE submission per team
