Project Synopsis
Kodak Health Imaging is currently a premier supplier of picture archive communication systems (PACS) that provide hospitals the ability to capture, manage, and display/print images from various medical devices (such as x-ray and MRI machines). A critical element in designing these systems is the ability to gauge their behavior and performance prior to their release into the field. The goal of this project is to develop new modality simulators that more accurately simulate field conditions and are more easily configurable and maintainable than the current implementation. The modality simulators are distributed across a network and managed by a central console. An agile development approach will be used to allow for high amounts of customer feedback and interaction, as well as high flexibility and response to changes. |
