This is not us. Our Process

Goodship Aces shall follow an Incremental Waterfall process. The team shall spend the first few weeks on gathering requirements and designing the system architecture. From there the team will move into an incremental process in which additional functional modules will be designed, implemented, and tested.

All requirements shall be tracked in the Software Requirements Specification doc (SRS). The team shall have a rough draft of the requirements document completed by December 28th. A rough draft of the document shall be released for review by December 21st.

A design document will be started as the SRS approaches a rough draft stage. The design document shall have a rough draft completed by January 21st. The design document shall have a high level architecture and design with constraints specified and accounted for.

The requirements and design documents will include test cases for each of the different requirements elicited. These test cases will be extracted into a Test Document to be delivered at the end of the project.

The team plans to complete all requirements gathering and design by January 28th and move into the incremental development stage of the process where the team will design each component of the software. Each incremental piece of the software will be able to be demonstrated through a prototype created by the team or as a stand alone tool. Each prototype shall include an update to the SRS and Design Documents.
