Initial Architecture Presentation & Discussion [5]

Each team will make a short informal presentation of its architectural design sketch to the instructor. After a critique by the instructor, the team will make changes deemed necessary and will submit the full architectural design no later than two days prior to the following lab session. As in the requirements lab, teams will create a special directory p-w2, and submission consists of depositing the final version of ArchDesign.doc in this directory no later than two days prior to the next lab session. Be sure to set the permissions properly on all directories and files so that members of the team's group (including the instructor) can access the files.

As before, the grade for the final architecture design will not be given until after the discussion in the next lab.

Grading for this lab will be based on the following factors:

1. The extent to which the team is able to discuss and provide a rationale for the architectural choices made.
2. The use of proper, grammatical English in the final architectural design document.
3. The extent to which the final architecture addresses and resolves issues (if any) raised during the discussion of the initial sketch.
